24 Hour Plays: Old Vic New Voices
Sunday 26 July 2009 7.30pm
I saw the freshest theatrical talent at one of London's most historic theatres, in one extraordinary evening. Following a rigorous audition process, a selection of the best young writers, directors, actors and producers of the future gathered at the Old Vic Theatre for one unique event. A company of fifty 18-25 year olds produced seven new plays in just 24 hours. Raw talent, brazen ambition and sheer determination resulted in an evening that is tipped to be the fastest-paced theatrical experience of the year.
Now it wouldnt be right if i didnt speak to one of the future stars, Nari Blair-Mangat stood out from amongst all this great talent, he has appeared in shows such as Piaf earlier this year, and clearly has a great future ahead of him. i will you keep you up to date of where to see him next.
